Benoni J. Varney Funeral

Benoni J. Varney, 73 of 50 Sagamore St., died suddenly early Saturday morning in Glens Falls Hospital. He was a member of the Friends Church and Adirondack Barracks, 995, Veterans of World War I.

He is survived by his wife, Pearl; one son, Eugene W. Varney of Hudson Falls; three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Barnes, Mrs. Alphonse Raime and Mrs. Lennox Ramsey Jr. of Glens Falls; 15 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted today at 2 p.m. at the Ridge Funeral Home, 147 Ridge St. Interment will be in the Friends Cemetery, Ridge Rd.
