William N. Howard
William N. Howard, of Chestnut Ridge Road, Town of Queensbury, died Monday (March 12, 1973) in Glens Falls Hospital following a long illness. Mr. Howard was a veteran of World War I. He was employed for many years at the Wilmarth Furniture Store, and more recently at the Glendale Furniture Store. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Glens Falls, and a member of Bloomington Lodge 435, Free & Accepted Masons, of Bloomington, Ill. He is survived by his wife Ruth; one daughter, Mrs. Frank Esther Stout, of Lockport; one son, Dr. John Howard, of Newberry, Mass.; his mother, Mrs. Carrie Howard, of Sebring, Fla; seven grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Dr. Gordon K. Howard of San Clemente, Calif., and Dr. Louis B. Howard of Sebring, Fla. Friends may call at the Potter Funeral Home, 136 Warren St. from 7 to 9 tonight. Services will be conducted at the funeral home at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Douglas P. Wright, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Pine View Cemetery. Those who wish may contribute to the American Cancer Society in Mr. Howard's memory.
