Freeman Hammond

Olmstedville- Freeman Hammond, 79, died Thursday at Moses-Ludington hospital at Ticonderoga, after a short illness. Surviving are his wife, Emma Warrington Hammond; two sons, Earl and Leland Hammond, Olmstedville; three daughters, Mrs. Henry Goodspeed of North Creek, Mrs. Robert Wing and Mrs. Russell Palmer of Olmstedville; 23 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Gore Baptist Church, Olmstedville. Interment was in Federal Flats Cemetery, Olmstedville.
