George Dowd, aged seventy-three years, died on the 15th inst., at his home on the Chester road, after an illness of several weeks duration. He leaves a widow and two daughters. Mrs. Wilbur Cowles of Chestertown, and Mrs. Beecher Grant of Warrensburgh. The funeral was held at his late home Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock
